My name is Harv and I suppose I should introduce myself instead of continuing to lurk in the shadows as I have done for the last few months!
I have been gaming since '96 and if I'm honest I would say I am more of a "painter / modeller" than a "gamer" as I really enjoy just sitting down and bashing away at my Ork (and sometimes Space Wolves!) armies which I have built up over the years (about 1/2 still on the sprues!).
I tend to take my time over my models (add that to being a perfectionist and I don’t think I will ever finish my first squad, let alone an army!) and find it relaxing once I get into “painting mode”
I had to take a few years out between ’04-’07 as I was trying to educate myself at uni (so I culd learn to speak and rite proper ) but decided to enter the fold again when the new wave of Ork releases hit in early ’08.
My local GW is Tunbridge Wells (occasionally Bluewater) in Kent, South East England. As I don’t play that often I am not as frequent a visitor as I once was
I have spent the last few years bobbing around on Warseer (same username), so I thought I would branch out a bit and try a few different forums.
I hope to become a valued member of the community and that whilst I often end up posting “essays” rather than simple “one sentence” replies I do hope that I can contribute favourably to the forum / community as a whole, so hello to all at Dakka Dakka!
