Simple enough question, right? Super-heavy designates a class and then super heavy tank would be it's sub type. According to the apoc main rule book, all super heavies have a sub type.

So, what about the plaguetower, lord of battles and doomblaster? They are super heavy vehicles but have no sub type. Plaguetower and doomblaster are easy- they don't / can't assault so no need for special rules. The lord of battles on the other hand can assault. It's a treaded vehicle so it's not a walker, not a flyer, not a transport and apparently not a tank.

Am I over analyzing or is it really not that clear? I'm going to start making one of these bad larries but just want to make sure the rules are correct when he goes bowling into the enemy.

well, yeah, it's quite possible to be a vehicle with no subtype although I can't think of one right now, it seems odd though that something would be a super heavy and not be a tank because that would mean I think that it can't tank shock/ram at all.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Makes sense.

Who needs to tank shock when you have a titan ccw .

Yeah, I noticed that about those vehicles. It seems clear that the Lord of Battles, for example, needs to be a SH Walker since it has the statline of a walker.

It's one of those things you'll need to houserule, since there's no rules to govern a non-walker vehicle attacking in close combat in the rulebook. It seems logical that this was a typo on the datasheet writer's part.
