Hello All.

Just got into 40K with a few friends. One of them played quite a bit when he was much younger and we finally all agreed to give it a try.

A bit of history...

My wargamming experience is limited solely to Battletech. As much as I loved the premise (big a$$ war machines blowing the frak out of each other) the games tended to get slow (it took hours to kill two 'mechs?!) and repetative (win initiative = shoot, Lose initiative = hide). Once we picked up a Black Reach set we very quickly discovered the faster pace of 40K and loved it. The history and depth of the storylines is great too.

I now am the proud owner of a very modest Daemonhunter army (I really liked the back-story and the look of the units) with one friend rocking out the Tyranids and the other siding with the Eldar. We only have a few games to our credit at this point as we only bought the Black Reach set about a month ago, but I'm really enjoying my time with 40K so far and look forward to good times to come!

Hi! Welcome!

92% of teens have moved on to rap. If you are one of the 8% who still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your sig.

GENERATION 8: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment
