Well, the whole lore behind Phoenix Lords is that they've been around a really long time, and have thus accumulated a ton of battlefield knowledge and ablility.

The problem with warp spiders is that every time they teleport, they risk being claimed by the warp. The way I heard it explained, any warp spider would be claimed by the warp long before they could achieve the level of Phoenix Lord.

The Warp Spiders have no known Phoenix Lord. However, some claim that the Wraith Spider (Lhykosidae), a similar position on the Kaelor Craftworld is the Phoenix Lord of the Warp Spiders. Others disagree due to the tendancy of Phoenix Lords to have appeared far earlier in history and help found their aspect.

yeah i think the warp spiders are a newer aspect or something.

That or the older ones were all lost in the warp somewhere during their time of service ><

They had a phoenix lord, but after his warp pack landed him right next to slaanesh, the eldar decided it would be best not to have a warp spider phoenix lord.

The same question could also be asked of the Shining Spears.. (as opposed to the Britney Spears Aspect cult)
