I don't know if it's simply me being a slow (quite possible), but the articles section just doesn't seem to work in a sensible way for me. I really enjoy reading the various articles, but the navigation around the system is possibly a little lacking.

* When you click 'Articles' on the top banner and get to the articles homepage, you get a section called 'Popular Article Categories', but there's no link to 'All Categories'. It would be helpful to be able to see a list of all categories, subcategories, or keywords, in order to find out if something is there. Looking through the list of all articles doesn't always help as you have to look at any number of variants of "Making a....", "How to make a....", "My super-amazing method for....", "Way to make a...." and so you invariably have to scan the entire list. When somebody writes an article, do they have to put it in a category? If this were so, it would mean that (hopefully) they were easy to find ie. need an article on a painting method? Check painting section etc.

* When you've finished reading an article, the only navigation options you have are the 'back' button on your browser or to click 'Articles' in the top bar and start again. Could there be navigation options on the left pane? Things like "Other articles from the category", "Suggested related articles" and so on. Often, I'll go looking for an article on something, like the pictures of the ork sprues, and while I'm there I might want to then go and look at someone's ork army profile, or some ork tactica and there's no simple way of getting from one to the other. I realise that there are many many things that I could want to look at, but there must be a way of at least slightly accommodating this. By having other things suggested to me, I'm more likely to read things that I wouldn't necessarily have thought of.

Just some thoughts.

Bye.

Or if you could go from the article that you're reading to the list of categories, in case the article you've just been looking at wasn't what you thought it would be.

You are completely correct that it is a major pain to find articles the way we have it set up now.

That area is due up for a major overhaul to make it more sensible to navigate, it just has to have some time and effort put into it which neither Lego or I have gotten around to yet.

Fair enough. I realise what a major headache running this site must be sometimes, but I for one love it! Glad you agreed with my thoughts though.
