Space Marine Scout with Sniper Rifle






It's definately is fitting with the Salamander love of fire/melta and termie armour, but as Darkness mentioned, counter caputring units are the weak link here. Any thought to reducing 1 squad of termies and changing the troop choice to 3 tac squads?

I do like the 20 termie and 2 Landraider Redeemer idea though, now there's a tough nut to crack.

I'd also like to ask how you would cope with a large mobile force, seeing as there'll be a less than 50 models on your side at any one time. I'm thinking a trukk heavy Ork force, or a mobile IG setup?

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but melta guns excite me

The latter list looks much better. Not a fun list for the opponent.

However, I'd consider Sniper Scouts and missile launchers for the Scouts. Naked Scouts with cc weapons are a waste of points if you want to take them to hold objectives
