An inversion of my normal color scheme for my tau. It serves to make the stealthsuits a lot darker.

Colors are scaly green highlighted with hawk turquoise highlight (scaly green is oop, but Vallejo has the same color), codex grey with fortress grey highlight, and scorched brown with beastial brown highlight.

Not a bad paint job at all. Really like the turquoise/dark blue panels offset against the grey.

Only thing i could say for improvement would be maybe highlight the unarmored material on the arms/elbows a little more just to bring them out from the recesses a little.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Very nice, and smooth paint job. Nothing 'blingy' about him which is what you expect from stealth units ;-)

nice work man.
only thing a touch off i see is a few spots where he highlights seem to widen out a bit much, but i rather doubt its noticable in real life

Thanks everyone!

Kaej: It could probably use a 50/50 beastial brown/snakebite leather highlight, or at least a darker basecoat. I ended up leaving it as is to accent the other colors more though. I'm not sure if it worked or not.

RiTides: I've got basecoats on two other stealthsuits at the moment. I need to get 3 stealthsuits, 3 crisis suits, and some firewarriors at least basecoated by Saturday for an escalation league. I'll make sure to get some pics up once they're finished though.

Greenskin: Yeah, I might go back and try to narrow them at some point. After an hour of highlighting I start to lose patience.
