Since Psycher Battle Squads seem to be all the rage in the new IG codex, I wonder how long until we see some accompanied by a Elite Hereticus Inquisitor with Divine Pronouncement.
The squad will sap the will of Nob Bikers and then the Inquisitor causes them to test on LD2 or fall back. Then a cheap chimera or Valk can escort the bikers off the table. Too bad it doesn't work on Marines or Demons too.

Or word of the emperor and weaken resolve.

That stops a unit from assaulting your inquisitor and any unit he is attached to!

true, it works on nob bikers, but does not stop stray battlecannon fire killing you.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

Very astute observation.

i allways like to think of the worse possible case

if you do have a unit that can do that to nob bikers then they will become priority.
a round or 2 of loota fire should see that they dont harm the nobz.

Wow, that's actually remarkably broken. In fact, that pretty much applies to any non-fearless unit, which pretty much kills any non-mech, non-fearless list. About the only thing that would keep people from taking it is the need for an OM Inquisitor for psycannons/mystics.

As for protection, stick'em in a Chimera. No need to fear battlecannon splatting when in a transport! (or at least less)

And who'd to say they can't pull this trick in the next turn with the Lootas, who are usually deployed next to the edge of the board? In fact, Lootas are great to pull this tactic on, as they will flee, and even if they recover next turn they still can only consolidate (no firing those heavy weapons), and then usually will have to move back into position on the turn after. This is two turns of no Loota fire!

The only big problem with this is a matter of range. Divine pronouncement has an 18 inch range. Perfectly fine for something coming at you, but harder for you to get stuff on your opponent's edge. And usually you will only get to do it once. So you basically have an av12 chimera between you and the enemy.
