Thanks for reading - I would like to make a few announcements about BK Army Painting, my miniature army painting service. Things have been going well, and I've managed to stay busy for the last six months since I began doing this full-time.

I'm of course always looking for new projects and clients! So if you're looking to have your army painted to a quality tabletop standard in a quick timeframe, for a reasonable cost, please send me a description of your project via the "Contact" page on my website (http://www.bkarmypainting.com/contact.html)

#1 - Larger Discounts for Figures Purchased By Us!

I can now offer a 20% off discount off MSRP for most models to clients who have me purchase models for them. Now its even more economical to have me handle the whole project from ordering, to assembly, to painting. All you do is tell me what you want, and 2-4 weeks later a fully-painted army will arrive at your doorstep!

This discount does not apply to Forgeworld, Direct-Order Only, or other limited-source figures.

#2 - Pricing Structure Update

Due to some recent projects in the pipeline, I've added an "extra-large vehicle/monstrosity" category to my pricing structure (which you can see at this link: http://www.bkarmypainting.com/pricing.html.

#3 - BK Army Painting Gallery Updated

As owner, webmaster, assembler, painter, packager, accountant, and guy who sweeps the floor, I've taken some time to put on my "webmaster" hat and updated the gallery on my website (http://www.bkarmypainting.com/gallery.html)to include pictures of more recent commissions.

Indiana

Bill Kim is a good guy, met him in person at Adepticon. I have to say Bluetable and Mr. Kim are the only other people in this business I would be willing to trust with my stuff.

Full time means you will see your stuff again. Think about that before you send it off to a random forum member!

Someone requested that I label the pictures so that the you can see how I classify the paint jobs under my pricing structure, so I did so.

Had a few questions, so I wanted to add a quick description of my painting standards. I divide the paint jobs into three "Tiers".

Tier 1 is a basic paint job, with a single primary color, and 2-3 trim colors.

Tier 2 is a slightly more complicated paint job, with two primary colors, and 3-4 trim colors.

Tier 3 is my highest level, and involves using as many colors as necessary, all to a primary level.

Primary colors get full highlighting and shading. Trim colors don't.

Hopefully that answers peoples questions.
