There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

I'll tell you as a new player to (assuming your new) to another....... build an 1500 point army at the bare minimum man. Nobody I've seen likes 500 pt games, they prefer 1500 and 1850 pt games.

The great thing about 500 pts is that if your list fails, then its only 30 mins or so. You picked a really hard my to play effectively at 500 pts, but it certainly is not the worst. You are missing anti tank guns. If you had those you would be set, maybe a fusion blaster or something. being able to easialy kill rhinos and transports is going to help you a lot. Your infantry have plently of infantrly kill power, you just want to use your range effectively, and with transports going down your gullet, you will be assaulted in no time, a place tau do not want to be.

You need to take off your bonding knifes because in the new fifth edition rules. You can regroup at any time so the knife will be pointless.

personally on the crisis suit i would go for either more fragmation launchers or some plasma cannons. The plasma would help you if you had to go against some marines and for every one else it would work good. I mean no Eldar player in a 500 point list can save that many 4+ saves.

Not true. In the 5th edition rules, unit's cannot regroup if they are at less than half strength. A bonding knife circumvents that rule.

So long as the bearer is alive, the bonded team may regroup even if below half strength

essential as far as i'm concerned. especially for troop choices.

Naw, make the multi-tracker hard-wired and take a missle pod on him.

ejection system really only helps in annihiliation games.

i'd say missile pod, or burst cannon, or drone controller and one shield drone.

burst cannon is meh. shield drone is a good idea though. if you can manage to shave a point off, put a plasma rifle on him. probably the best gun in my army. all the awesome of an imperium plasma weapon, none of the danger!

Kick the AFP, too 'spensive, especially with no target lock. Use Plasma instead.

Give each FW squad a gun drone, that puts you 1 point over 500. Don't play with nazis and that should be cool.

If you shave 2 Fire Warriors off of each team, you could get another suit.

Also, I would pu tall your suits in the same unit, just becuase of KPs.
