I have been reading through the books for a long time, and I finally decided to get into the game. I want to try out a 15 and 25 point list, but i am not sure if this will going to work how i put it together. I love the Caine models and the Stormblade, so i wanted to make sure they were in the list. Everyone else is expendable.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

15 point
Capt Caine - (+7)
Defender Jack - 9
ATGM - 7
Hunter - 6

25 points
+ Stormblade - 8
+ Trencher and Chaingun crew - 2

A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his/her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

If Caine is anything like his MkI incarnaton then a Junior Warcaster is a good purchace that will play nicely with the Hunter freeing up Focus for Caine.

I'm not really an expert on Cygnar.

My friend loves to play caine, especially in small battles. He can provide some great support spells AND he is probably the best offensive caster out of the prime book. What I would look into getting is the tempest gun mage solo. If you are going to run caine, you have to be aware that you will be moving him around ALOT, so dont expect to sit in one spot with. My friend tends to lead him away from his main force, picking off solos and infantry squads which he does very very well with 4 shots per round. The defender is a good choice but I would actually drop the hunter jack. The reason for this is that the hunter is expensive for a light jack and the defender with the snipe spell can put out just as much if not more than the hunter.

The ATGM unit attachment is great for running the defender and hunter together, just keep that UA model someplace very safe (or put a journeyman in to give him arcane shield).
Both can benefit from long-shot and snipe(upkeep on jack #1, jack #1 fires, cast on jack #2, jack 2 fires, repeat) in a turn to get an impressive RNG 24 shot from the defender and 22" from the hunter.
At shorter ranges you throw deadeye on both and go for crits with Crit:Brutal shot.
At close range, deadeye goes on the ATGM unit to thunderstrike threats away while caine goes to town with his pistols.

Least, that's how I'd do it.

Soo.
Caine +7
Defender 9
Hunter 6
ATGM 7
ATGM UA 2
Journeyman warcaster 3
Stormblades (min) 5
25

Beyond 25, nab a stormclad and fill out the stormblades. Eventually throw in arlan strangewayes and a squire to ease your focus load.
