GOD THIS STUFF SUCKS! Give me some Zap a Gap or give me death! I had to resort to the oh-so-shoddy water drop method to get it to hold at ALL and it is still puny..... At least with Zap-A-Gap, pressure will actually seal it within 30 seconds and water or zipkicker secures that stuff!

Wait?

People actually pay money for GWs glue?

Do they not know the difference between crap and gold?

I use zap, it's cheaper and works faster, plus comes in different thicknesses.

For plastics, I can get two bottles of Revell Contacta Pro for the price of ONE GW bottle, and have three times the plastic glue.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Well that's seemingly rude. Considering I had no other way to buy any kind of glue when I needed it and that is all that was there, I had no choice. I don't mind the GW Plasticglue so much but I would MUCH rather use ZapAGap.

I use the Revell glue for plastic and the Bison industrial strength super glue. Cheaper and much more effective.

Lock-tite gel in the squeeze bottle. Holds great, and I've never had a problem with the tip getting blocked. It's also only 3 or 4 dollars.

I mix krazy glue ( the one with guy's hand glued onto his helmet ) + zap a gap.

blames on you when you get the odd dumbass who forgets to put the lid on and glues his own eyes shut
but i agree.
GW glue is fine if you shake it 1st.
the GW plastic glue is great aswell
though, i tend to use the cheaper and better quality stuff
just a tub of PVC pipe glue lol, much stronger (dont use it in a stuffy room) and holds quickly.
just make sure its the low grade stuff or else it does tend to melt and warp parts (hence my poor fex who ended up with the regen biomorph lol)

I use tester's for plastic and the Hobbytown USA generic brand for super glue. That stuff is awesome.

Only seemingly rude? I Must be slipping in my dotage.

Down here, just about every other store sells superglue of one kind or another. I have a choice of four newsagents and two hardware stores, not to mention a couple of convenience stores within a 15 minute walk if I want superglue. Most have it cheaper than GW, too. Also, my closest hobby/model store is closer than GW, too.

Some places may not be as civilised as this, I'll admit ( probably why I don't live there.).

I just find it ludicrous that people will pay GWs premium price for their glue (or tools or flock) when there are often better options available for less money elsewhere.

I always use Loctite Super Glue Gel as it has a great applicator and can be used with a minimum of mess and it binds quickly.

I tried Loctite on a Killa Kan and it was terrible but that was possibly because I'd had the glue for a while although I'm not sure if that would make a difference. I have a bottle of GWs superglue and the brush applicator is great but you do have to hold or brace the model for quite a while to get the adhesion as I discovered with a Chaplains arm.

Lol, that sounds like a genuine ailment. Rings work "I can't come in to work today Boss, I've got Chaplains arm".

Anyway, I will try shaking the glue as mentioned above.

The gaming store I was at was the only place I had access to that day that I knew would sell a manner of model glue and they had no Zap-A-Gap.
