Wow. You should try tagging some words on the tanks, make it look like the sides of the trucks I see all over Los Angeles.

Ahh, a breath of fresh air! I was just thinking yesterday of ways to incorporate other styles of art into miniature painting. Very nice, thanks!

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Umm well as far as freehand goes these are actually my first attempts, but I am a drawing major in college so I have had TONS of practice, and I know the materials and techniques well enough to at least throw these together. But basically I pre-draw the designs and then after the main colors are applied to the tanks I draw on the symbols with sharpie and color them in with paints. It takes a lot of practice and patience but it definitely pays off. My plan is to have a land raider next with some really crazy stuff on it, prolly wording and entirely covered in crazy iconography.

I so had this idea for a group of Slaaneshi 'thugs' obsessed with art. You definitely did it better than I would have though. Great job!

Great idea, and excellent execution! I don't know whether its intentional or not, but the one on the left looks like "Rusty" from the Squidbillies.
