I've been thinking about converting a special forces type squad, and I know about stormtroopers and Kasrkin, but I'm thinking about making some kinda cool squad with US gas mask heads from West Wind's secrets of the third Reich. I've got the idea, but I'm not sure on the torso and legs for them. Any help?

Scouts with helmets (enclosed).

I use them as Arbites (with mag fed shotguns) in my WH army this way. I had spare Cadian vox helmets for the job, and didn't like the hydrocephalic scout heads anyway.

Besides that if your in the US , there isnt anyone who carries the SHS seperate Head System. At least that I could find.

Yeah, but you can order it from the UK easy enough.

The only problem I can foresee is that the heads look a bit wonky on the Scout bodies.

Sounds somewhat like what I'm doing for my Guard. I'm using the Cadian Respirator set from ForgeWorld though.

Is the brown washes over brown over white or something as complicated as it looks?
Elysians can be a good start, their guns can be bought separately and look special forcesish

Vallejo US Field Drab
Devlen Mud
Badab BLack

The Armor is Vallejo Olive Drab with a GW metallic silver drybrush and then Badab Black.

The Weapons are Fortress Grey with the Same silver drybrush and then Badab Black

iron pig has some cool respirator heads for pretty cheap.
