Do you think 10 pathfinders are worth fielding? For it is only 240 points and make for nice anti-elite assassins (i.e Termies and other Armor / Survival proficient units) and difficult targets to kill for their +2 cover save. So i am wondering why you eldar players out there do not utilize them more, and if you do use them, how do you maximize their effectiveness?

They can do thier job fine - with bs4, pathfinder AP1 rules on a roll to-hit of a 5-6, they should score enough nasty hits per turn to do damage with just 5. At 5 thier only a mere 120pts yet are very hard to take down with conventional weapons but there are alot of anti-coversave weapons out there in the gaming world & 10 would be too much of a liability. 2 squads of 5, fine - you will only ever loose 5 at a time. 10 is singularly too big.

I love these guys. I usually try to put them in a ruin on the top floor. This gives them a good vantage point and the 2+ cover. If there is no ruins in your deployment zone then infiltrate them.

I totaly agree with Raverous in fact in my last game i fielded to squads of 5 pathfinders and infiltrated them onto some ruins

The eye of terror.

Because "only" and "240 points" don't deserve to be in the same sentence!

Units of 5 are fine, but the fact that they fold up and die as soon as they get assaulted by a space marine or hit by a flamer makes them quite vulnerable despite their good cover save.

Lets look at cover-save-denying units:

Any unit with a flamer (tactical marines, chaos space marines, obliterators, IG infantry squads, special weapon squads, storm troopers, veteran squads, command squads, sisters of battle, obliterators, storm guardians, wraithlords, etc.)

Any unit with a heavy flamer (terminators, chaos terminators, land speeders, immolaters, sternguard, IG squads, chimeras, etc.)

Hell Hounds

Sternguard bolters

Burna boyz

One of the new Leman Russ variants.

Collosus

Whirlwinds

LR Redeemer

Homonculi w/ their super-flamer-thing

Flamers (the daemons unit)

DA psykers

Chaos psykers

etc. etc.

Don't get me wrong, I use a unit, but most army lists will have something that makes them dead real fast, and they're expensive for what they can do.

Why did the berzerker cross the road?

Pathfinders are pretty expensive for 120 pts for 5. Their effectiveness is reduced because of the new sniper rules combined with the prevalent cover saves of 5th edition as well as getting few shots only 5 for 120 pts. They are also vulnerable to all the cover ignoring units Willy mentioned.
