Well, Eldar Pathfinders. I'm sure you all know of my secret love by now. Anyway, I was painting the last one today for a painting competition on another forum, and disaster struck... my wash ended up causing all the paint to flake off... ending my chances of a viable entry. So, since I don't want to even look at that mini right now, he won't get finished for a while.

So, I give you pictures of the rest of the unit that IS completed.

And the Pathfinders that are completed, in position. I'll have to redo this picture once all five are finished and based.

Good work.

The blues and browns are a nice combination.

They look pretty good. How did your wash make the paint come off?

I don't think the paint got enough time to dry. Which is funny, because I've washed things when a model got less time to dry, and it worked fine. Maybe it was the brush?

Luna may be onto something. If you put a different style of paint onto another style of paint, they dont always live next door to each other in peace. Little evil paint BASTERDS!

It was mostly Vallejo on top of GW. Also, quite a bit of the GW paint went too. Strangly enough though, the Tamiya is just fine.

In case you're wondering:
The blue is a combination of GW regal blue and GW blue ink
The browns are both Vallejo(the lighter one is a mix of grey and brown)
The gold is GW
The white is GW
The skin colour is a mix of various paint colours, some GW, some Vallejo
The purple is a mix of Tamiya purple and GW white
The red is Vallejo
The Green is GW
and the Wash is Vallejo Black Glaze, just watered down.

Washes can make paint flake off if you don't give it adequate drying time. It seems to be a chance occurrence though; sometimes it flakes it, sometimes it doesn't. I think It has a bit to do with how the wash is applied, but I don't want to preform an experiment in ruining miniatures. My condolences on the loss.

On the plus side, Sweet eldar squad. It makes me almost not hate them, but I am an ork player, and I cant not hate snipers, sorry.

Nice painting, but the silver rifles gotta go, in my opinion. For giving your position away to the enemy, nothing yells, "HERE I AM!!!" like a bright, shiny, reflective weapon.
