I would take a guess that this is the picture mentioned in the other thread.

Looks to me like it may be a test sculpt, it does have the green and overly gray colors seen in other test sculpt images.

I wouldn't take just my word on it Luna, might want to see what a member with more experience on these matters shows up. Regardless it looks like a good find.

It's from last year and is a bunch of test sculpts said to be the design for the new plastic storm trooper or arbitrator if you play Witch Hunters.

Since Storm Troopers lack options for Shotguns, I would more likely guess they are either future veteran models or test models for options that did not make it in the codex.

Word was, these guys are going to be released for the IG and Inq for Planetstrike.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Witchhunter Stormtroopers maybe upgrade to "Arbites" with shoguns for free. That's why he has a shotgun.

This was indeed the rumor, but now it seems all we're getting in the immediate vicinity of Planetstrike is some Marine stuff and a handful of terrain kits.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

IMO, I think this is the miniature for one LUKAS BASTONNE!

He's in the codex, means he'll be getting a miniature.

GW probably just decided to push stormtroopers back into 2nd wave, rather than having a small wave 1.5.

I imagine Bastione will end up in more fancy carapace than that guy. Being all honored and decorated and a special character I'm sure he'd end up armored more like the commissars.

They don't look like Arbites nor Storm Troopers with Shotguns though, they look like Cadians with Shotguns and leg armor. You can't see it well in the cropped version posted above but the grey colored mini looks like it has some bionics on its head and either a bionic right arm or power fist. If he did not look so Cadian, I would have guessed it was a possible Straken model.

I don't remember Bastonne having a shotgun or being bald.

Everyone important in warhammer eventually turn bald and screaming.

Looks like a cadian special model. I have seen the karskin sargent, and they dont have that laurl thing on the shoulder. Might be for an inqusition update, or an IG special to be released latter.

Any1 else kinda notice that his shotgun is somewhat larger than normal?

Over-Compensating, are we Mr. Cadian?

This one looks bigger because it has a stock, marine scouts also walk around with the M32, minus stock.

Well the simple fact is that certain sorts of models don't make a straight forward transition into plastic. I think the armor overall looks bulkier, if you look at the back you can see he's armored at the waist and he has a neck guard, combined that with the leg armor and the bracers (you've mistaken as bionics) you have carapace. It may not look like an arbites but who's to say how they plan on "reinventing" them. Arbites come from the Schola Progenium where the Commissars and Storm Troopers are trained, would it not make sense that they'd wear similar patterns of Carapace, with maybe only a different helmet?

Being somewhat obsessed by Arbites:
I am 100% sure this mini is just a test. Among other things the shotgun is extremely owersized (not just a SM-shotty with stock, but way bigger).

He definitely has either a power fist or bionic arm. EDIT: Sadly, I can't find the better picture where you can see the details of the hand on that arm.

Yeah... there are two sculpts. It may just be an alternate part for a veteran sergeant.
