Can you have up to 9 or 12 Valkyries in new guard list?

Okay, I got the new codex. I read it. I see I can have 3 fast choices. I can have 3 valks in each choice. 3x3=9. Some people are saying, in addition to that, Stormtroopers get Valks as dedicated transports. Nowhere in the new codex under stormtroopers, valkyries, or on page 99, or under the entries of stormtroopers or Valks, etc, do I see anything that justifies that statement....

Also, if I have 3 valks under 1 fast choice, can these valks "split up" an transports various units...like troops 1 (1 command squad & 2 troops) and 1 valk brings in sqaud 2?

Just the 3x3 Fast choices, no one can take Valks as a Dedicated Transport.

Why are some people saying Storm Troopers have them as dedicated transports? Where does it say that in the codex? Perhaps these "Some people" need to actually read the codex.

Because if they say it often enough without people catching them on it, it'll become "common knowledge" and they're more likely to be able to pull it off without most of their opponents noticing

they're saying it because they caught a whiff of that rumor around christmastime and haven't kept up to date with the IG info most likely. they were rumored (or perhaps common sense-wishlisted) as having that dedicated transport option.

Theres mission rule for stormtroopers called airborne people proably misinteripating it
