Again, posting a semi-competitive daemon list.
Bloodthirster + Unholy Might = 270
Bloodthirster + Unholy Might = 270
4 Bloodcrushers w/ Icon = 185
3 Flamers = 105
Daemon Prince w/ MoK + Wings + Iron Hide = 185
Daemon Prince w/ MoK + Wings + Iron Hide = 185
Daemon Prince w/ MoK + Iron Hide = 125
7 Plaguebearers + Icon = 130
7 Plaguebearers + Icon = 130
9 Bloodletters = 144
5 Horrors + BoT + Changeling
9 FleshHounds + Karanak = 170
Tips on army composition or which units to use for the initial judgment of Chaos?
(I don't have any more Bloodcrushers...But I do have more Plaguebearers, Bloodletters and Daemonettes.)

Unless your deadset on fleshhounds, i would say drop them. is this suposed to be a themed khorne list for the MC's, because if not i find Daemonprinces give me more when given MoN touch, cloud, flight, and hide

My thoughts exactly. The first 4 posts are like the 4 stages of evolution of a rumour thread.
1 - Rumour
2 - Sarcastic rebuttal
3 - Sensible discussion
4 - Wishlisting |

Yeah I only have the five MC's as Khorne. I only have two DP's with wings and I don't own a Nurgle one so I can't exactly use it in this game.
But what do you suggest replacing the Flesh Hounds with? They could potentially be used for distraction with their twelve inch charge range.

demonic flight in the demons codex is considered magical- you don't need wings. also any DP model can be a nurgle DP, it's just a different stage of mutation

Any DP can be marked with whatever you want, whatever the mdoel looks like because there trule is only one wizziwig DP, the nurgle one. Anyways, I'd have to agree with above on running the nurgle DPs without wings. wings are dumb, you are deepstriking, if you aren't close enough already, you are playing wrong. I'd also go as far to say that for 180 less points, you can run 2 GUOs that will do the same stuff as those two thirsters. Thirsters are way too expensive for what they do compared to the other GDs. His 'godly' stat is WS? oh wow, everyone that is WS 4 or below needs 5's to hit you then probably 5-6 to wound. The GUO doubles as a tank killer that can also deal with hordes of dudes by himself with aura of decay. I'm sorry I just do not see the advantage of bloodthirsters. Someone persuaded me once but I quickly forgot once I looked at the book again. Then, with the thirsters gone and 180 points free, that is a whole lot to play with.

bloodthirsters are better than GUOs in this case if he wishes to actually catch his opp. with GUOs being SnP, there's not much chance of being a real threat- whereas BTs are winged death incarnate and can even get a +2 sv vs psy/force weapons

Yeah, I like Bloodthirsters much better. They excel far more against Land Raiders after all. Though maybe I should use a Keeper of Secrets instead? It does have rending....though no 3+ armor save.
I'm probably going to change the Daemon Princes into that of Nurgle, though still having trouble deciding to go Flying or No?
Also, should I drop one Icon to own only two. Perhaps use the extra 25 pts for Blessing of the Blood God on the Bloodthirsters? I don't like Mind Wars, Guide, or any Eldar Psychic powers after all.

Or drop the DP's for soul grinders
EDIT:
And the keeper of secrets doesn't need rending, it's a monstrous creature.

i would drop the hounds straight away, they are a point sink and have a very limited use.
if you want something hard hitting and fast moving then get some fiends instead.
other than that, drop wings from one prince and use points to bolster out the troops. (also, if you dont take hounds then the points can be used here aswell)

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor. |
