That thing cannot be a very stable gun platform, stomping around on those four stubby, cumbersome looking legs. Of course, when it's stationary and braced it could be very stable. Nice price too.

The box version has some less shading and no printed symbols, numbers, etc., which makes it a little bit cheaper.
The upper one is from the box, the lower one the 60$ version.

Granted, that thing is brutal-looking up close. I've always been tempted to start playing AT-43, but I can't find anyone else to play it with in my area.

Yeah. $60 for it now, or $70 for it AND the rest of a 2000 point complete army in a few months. Not so smart.

Aside from what looks like a slight alignment issue on the left hand gun barrel, I really like that model.
Too bad I've never seen anyone play At-43 or I'd be all over some Red-Blok.

Or frankly don't have as much time as we'd like to paint our man-dollies any more!
If I can get hold of one in the UK I'll be getting the Red Blok army set. It will retail at 70 Euros, which makes it probably £70 including VAT here in the UK. I can live with an entire playable army for less than the price of 2 Land Raiders!

So I'm guessing the Frostbite color scheme is going away based on the army photo. Can anybody confirm? I've had to repaint my Shock Tac arms and have some Star Troopers primed to match the urban camp of the rest of my army.
I've got a Fire Toad, but haven't played it yet. I'm sure one of the three folks I play against who have Red Blok will be picking one up next month in the army box (around the time I'll be picking up that Cog army).

Nope, standard and frostbite are going to stay. the standard scheme you get with the box and frostbite with the single dotch.

Not to totally throw the thread off topic but I just got the new UNA Star Troopers in the winter scheme. They are the best pre-painted figures I've seen yet. They cheated a tiny bit because only the one leader fig has skin because the others all have the triple-lens helmets. But they really do look very nice. If you have not seen them in person check them out. They also had almost no bending in the gun barrels unlike some previous releases.
If this is a new standard I'm very impressed.

The foot troops for AT-43 are not so badly painted 4/10? ( very easily repainted for their faces ) easily making it 5/10
However im 100% impressed with their vehicles. They are beyond table top standards that i see everyday . Only thing different is
they have clear plastic for lenses which again you can repaint them to look like GW lenses.
Here is a pic of the vehicles ( untouched out of the box ) it has cammo , weathering , paint chip , their icon etc etc
seriousely cant ask for anything better prepainted.
