Personally I think that's pretty cool, and even cooler that they're offering boxed sets from other manufacturers too. It seems like a good step in the right direction for continuing Wargames Illustrated's reputation as a general wargaming magazine, and not just a White Dwarf equivalent for Flames of War.

They're Pak 43s not Pak 40s. :(

I would've gone for this had they been Pak 40s

Oh snap! That was silly of me. I knew they were PaK43s, I guess I was just in too much of a hurry this morning and wasn't paying attention.

I think PaK40s are great (and probably the best value for the points unless you know you're going to be tangling with lots of heavy armor), but PaK43s are pretty hot when you need something to deal with heavy armor in LW. Why don't you like the 43s? Already got some?

I'm building a Speeverband and I get Pak 40s as dirt cheap weapon platoons.

A very nice offer, especially given the wide variety of models there, a little something for everyone. I hope they manage to keep up the quality under new management, and it looks like they're off to a good start here.

The supply does not get to make the demands.
