Reading the PDF of the imperial guard codex, where in the high/ command squad does it allow to to change one of your veterans to a master of ordnance? or an officer of the fleet? does the new codex seem to make the platoon information a little more easier too understand? I'm confused towards the subject and do you have to take a conscript squad if you have more then 2 infantry platoons in your army? maybe my PDF is wrong but it doesn't show that leman russes are allowed in squads between 1-3?

sorry for the overload of the noob questions but just trying to make the codex clearer. comments are very much welcome (other then telling me l2 get codex, some people don't have a lot of cash, but is top priority! ).

*edit: oh and if anyone has a more up to date PDF please link

The advisors and bodyguards are added to the squad - they don't replace vets.
You never have to have conscripts.

QFT. Even if GW is a bunch of asshat slackers, they should know that people play, and support, armies other than power-armored freaks.

"I went into a hobby-shop to play m'self a game,
The 'ouse Guru 'e up an' sez "The Guard is weak and lame!"
The Chaos gits around the shelves they laughed and snickered in my face,
I outs into the street again an' grabbed my figure-case."
Oh it's "Angels this" an' "Space-wolves that", and "Guardsmen, go away!";
But it's "Thank you for the ordnance" when the Guard begins to play,
O it's "LOOK AT ALL THE ORDNANCE!" when the Guard begins to play.."
