Does anyone plan to go back to MkI or are you all going to continue using your MkII rules and cards?

I only got a few MkII games in so I'm planning to continue playing it until the Book is released.

Going to play Hordes this year, I think.

Good plan, I have so much stuff to paint for my Circle and a few new releases to buy before September.

I'll probably fund them by seling off some Imperial Guard.

Mk2 for me.

I think it makes my Faction (Khador) far more fun to play with & against.

Butcher/eButcher is so much cooler and fun without being stupid broken.

Plus I just got a Karchev model, that I want to play with in Mk2.

Though for the upcoming league I will break out my Circle for the first time, but for WM on WM games I think we've all agreed to use MK2 rules.

MkI for me at least until Gencon is finished. Don't want to be all turned around on the rules when I'm actually trying to do well in a tournament.

(and I greatly prefer the MkI Karchev, food for thought)

What's good about eButch? I haven't really looked at him.

He has a spell that makes every attack one of his jacks makes this turn a Thresher attack.

His Rage Drives have been combined into one rule. Just for being in his CTRL area, his jacks can charge and do power attacks for free. They also get +2 SPD and MAT if Orsus killed an enemy model that turn.

His feat stayed exactly the same. You can combine all this to charge a Spriggan or Beast-09 11" (Boundless Charge) and Thresher, then use a Rage token to move another 6" and Thresher again.

Edit: I suppose I should answer the question in the OP. Mk II is my preference, but if I'm playing with or against Hordes, Mk I it is.

Tournaments/Leagues are Mk 1, so Mk 1 it is.

All in all, fact is that Warhammer 40K has never been as balanced as it is now, and codex releases have never been as interesting as they are now (new units and vehicles and tons of new special rules/strategies each release -- not just the same old crap with a few changes in statlines and points costs).

I'd like to, you know, play. At all. Anything.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

I'll probably be playing MKI as my group is about 50/50 WM/Hordes.

2012- stopped caring
Nova Open 2011- Orks 8th Seed---(I see a trend)
Adepticon 2011- Mike H. Orks 8th Seed (This was the WTF list of the Final 16)
