you should specify you're trying to go from Warhammer Fantasy to Warhammer 40K. I think people are getting confused.

I know I did until I looked closer and noticed that the first name was spelled orc. It would help a lot if you made it a bit clearer please.

Don't waste the time and just buy an AOBR warboss from ebay? They are pretty cheap.

Its easy to do all right, but how good it fits its up to how much you are willing to spend adapting it.

For basics: chop off the fantasy weapons and replace with powerklaw, shoota and other.

For amazing new Ork Boss: get creative with greenstuff, chop off a lot of parts, go bitz hunting.

Well, I know it's possible to go the other way...I converted a Black Reach Warboss into a Orc Big Boss.

The fantasy orc warboss is too tiny to be a propper 40K warboss. He's smaller than a nob. Not worth the effort in my opinion.

Problem is that the Orc warboss is about the same size as a nob. So he's a bit titchy.

I would think a much eaiser conversion would be fatasy warboss into 40k wierdboy.
However,size not withstading,I would say(as said before) anything is possible,lots of chopping,GS and bitz sticking could yield some cool results.
