My friend has alot of termi's and land raiders. How do i beat them with the new guard?

Vedettas... melta weapons, plasma russes.

And if he deepstrikes a lot there is the standard cheesy solution: Ally in a daemonhunters inquisitor with two mystics and place them next to one of the russes with five plasma cannons. That should keep the termies away.

For my IG, I've found that what kills the most terminators are las guns. Now I'm not saying the laws of averages support this or anything, or that it will work for you (though it works for the other local IG players), just that my opponents seem to fail more 2+ saves against flashlights than any other weapon I've used. (Shuriken catapults are a close second)

A demolisher cannon will quickly put a Land Raider in its place if it can survive long enough.

Vets with Meltaguns in a Chimera will solve your problems.

Meltaguns for vets and the CCS (x2) looks like the way to go. The CCS can issue bring it down for the land raiders, so you should hit it enough to take it down. Other then that, las/plas line squads and executioners would work a treat. If your friend uses non TH/SS termies, rough riders would do a fine job of neutering them. If you can spare the points, the occasional power weapon or power fists on your PCS and commissar would work pretty well. Just keep them away from the ligning claw termies!

Stilll, you have the tools - access to lots of plasma and melta, Bring it Down! works a treat with twinlinking your meltas (just bring a vox...) to put the hurt on the termis.

Also dont be afraid to bait him in qith a sacrificial squad. Hope the squad dies on his turn (he cant hold back) and shoot him to death on yours.

LandRaiders and Termies should not be a problem for guard. You have acess to more BS4 melta and plasma than any other army in the game. Throw a Pruss or two in there and termies just go away.
