For those not in the know, BG&E came about in the golden age of ubisoft, in the time period of Rayman 2&3, Splinter Cell, The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time trilogy.

It was an adventure and stealth game, where you played as a freelance journalist, trying to uncover a vast conspiracy and free the peaceful world of Hillis from an oppressive government. It was amazingly creative and imaginative, and had brilliant gameplay and music. Especially on the pc. Anyone who sees a copy in a store nearby is obliged to buy and play it. Failure to do so will result in them being deathstriked from 960 inches away.

Anyhoos, while there hasn't been any official press release, this is definately footage (pre-rendered, ingame or otherwise).

Boring. The game was utterly boring. This, to me, was Ubisoft's big failure. At least they redeemed themselves with Rayman 3.

Its looks plays and felt as if thats how assassins creed should have been. Definitely going to keep an eye on this one.

Never played the first one,yet my friend claimed it was good so I will keep it in mind when thinking of a game to buy.

urgh, looks like a game similar to mirrors edge (the most pointless game ever!) btw, when she was running up the stairs why did she have to hit herself on the wall whenever she had too turn?

Well, ME was inspired by Prince of Persia, and that was a Ubisoft game. Also, the character of faith owes a lot to Jade from the original BG&E

Anyhoos, this could just be one event, rather than the design ethos (having lots of running and chasing) for the whole game. The first had 2 epic chase scenes.

If this really is, what BG&E could be like (not look like, because this seems rendered) then....wow. I want it!

i don't know looked more like a mirror edge game and she didnt look really like jade but i have seen the beyond good and evil 2 debut teaser

I played the original and i gotta say one of the best games on that generations consoles... although i cant remember which one i had it on... had ps xbox and gc add that to bad memory and i have no clue... epic game tho.
