I have some metal termies I want to get rid of. I bought them used, and stripped them. they are now basecoated, and 2 of them I started painting on to try out some color schemes.
4 with LCs
2 with TH/SS
1 wit a TH and 1 LC <---you only need a couple bits to finish him up.

yeah I guess I should have put that in there huh? well I am not real sure what these would be worth, so I guess make an offer, and we can go from there. maybe somewhere in the $40-$50 range.

Ouch, thats a bit high, they go from 1-5 dollars a piece on ebay, and the 5 dollar models are painted to a decent standard. Thats not to say that there aren't some on ebay stores for 6-7 bucks a pop, but still...

I have looked, and there are no $5 metal termies. maybe $7-$10 after shipping. if you are lucky.

sorry, 25 is way to low. and this would be 7 terms for the price of 5.

A tip: You have to realize that you're selling items second hand.. a good start is to aim to get about 60% of what they cost retail (as in you give a 40% discount on GW prices)...
It's a buyer's market and you can get GW models for 35% off retail at web based sites that are reliable than buying from a random person on a forum since they are an established buisness...
It's nothing personal, it's just some friendly tips
I might be interested in these, but have to run so please toss me a PM so we can discuss over PMs later today
Thanks,
Alex

Not to mention a person can now get starter set termies for around $15 (then buy the cc arms later).
Shame you want cash and not trade (I have 7-8 armies, but no cash at the moment...), unless you're looking for something.

I completely understand what you guys are saying, which is why I dont think my price is all that high. 40% of retail would be $30 for 5 termies, so thats $6 a piece. 6x7=$42.
so $40-$45 shipped for 7 termies is not an unreasonble asking price.
and I might be willing to do a trade, depending on what you have SM wise. but I have 4500 pts of SM so I am not real sure what I would add at the moment.

Sorry, exchange rate isn't what it used to be.
Works out more expensive than me buying a brand new box of assault terminators, without paint, condition issues, missing bits etc.

You can't really work the price out per model on this one, since you don't buy terminators in blisters anymore, GW has taken down the price per terminator by including hem in a box of 5, which is what you'll have to take it from...
A reasonable price for older metal models, which does have slight warpage and paint on them, would lie somewhere like 35 USD. (I say warpage since basically all metal termies with lightning claws had warpage on the claws).
I'm not trying to do anything demeaning towards you, just passing on observations I've done when I've sold my stuff... It's sadly that big of a price-drop...
Hell I sold off about 120 USD worth of Empire models for about 50 USD including shipping, and that's because they are worth second hand.
Unless you find someone close by with cheap postage or even the possobility to do the purchase in person, then you can charge a tad more.
Good luck, and if you want to seperate some claws from the whole lot send me a PM
