I've just come back to gaming after a few years off. I used to play Epic and Warhammer Fantasy years and years ago but I've recently been drawn back to 40k. I've started a Space Marine chapter of my own design so I'll probably post some images of them as my army grows and hopefully get some feedback on what you all think of them.

Word! I have a similar story: back to 40k after something like 15 years off. Welcome aboard.

Do you guys remember the box set "Space Marine" from the mid-90s? I think it was what Epic used to be called. Anyway, I played the hell out of that.

Space Marine was the first boxed set my brothers and I got! Very fond memories of playing that with (I think) Adeptus Titanicus as the Ttian expansion. Those 'VW Beetle' warlord titans were awesome.

I also used to love the fact that you got a bonus mini in a metal blister, usually a tarantula, mole mortar or a rapier if I remember correctly.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for the welcome. I'll post some WIP pics of my 40k chapter as they progress.
