Update: I entered the Mangler into No Quarter magazine's "Riddled with Bullets" challenge, and he took first place. From the look of the honorable mentions, it was a tough competition.

I posted both of these on the Privateer Press forums just a little while ago. I thought I'd put them up here and see what everyone thinks of them:

All commentary is welcome.

I love when model don't appear to be fake, but something from real life. Nice job in encompassing that.

P.s. He's unarmed... Ah-ha-ha... Egh.

Thank you. The weathering is a pretty huge part of these minis, but it was well worth the time.

Nice conversions and battle damage.

The nomad looks better to my eye as the damage seems to be more muted on it, but they are both fine looking jacks.

Hm... Ok, I'll remember that.

On Coolmini, the Nomad is doing slightly better, and I wasn't really sure why, but I think that what you've said here is the factor.

Thank you.

Well, I think I only have two sizes. The one's I've posted already, and some massive ones. I'll look into putting up some huge ones for you (I can't just upload them to my normal spots, since they're too big).

Thank you. I was actually considering entering the Nomad in the No Quarter competition, but then I mentioned the idea of having a 'jack using its own arm as a weapon to my wife, and she insisted that I do the conversion.

I'm rather happy with how it turned out. And I'm glad that I have a wife that will make me convert minis.

Thanks. I was doing some experiments on wear and tear, and I think I'll be using those methods for some time to come.
