Curious what options there are for in store gaming in the greater Rochester, NY area. I know of Millennium games so far...

Boldo's armory off monroe ave (near the 490 exit) also works.

There are pro's and con's to both shops, but Millenium has more space - Boldo's has more experienced veterans.

i play at both places regularly...
millennium gw days are saturdays, boldos is sundays...
both places gaming starts around noon usually...
both are mostly 40k players, but theres usually a few people that play fantasy around too

Just a word of caution though, every second saturday of the month at Millennium are tournaments this year. Every month alternates between 40k and Fantasy so if you're thinking about coming just be careful of the date. Otherwise Millennium is a pretty good place to game on saturdays, and other days of the week you can go in and play during the afternoons without any problems.

he opens packages, ships back 10% and claimed the box was damaged, so had to 'return' to sender.

Never when I saw any GW gaming going on. I have family out there so occasionally would stop in looking for various board or non-ccg card games.

Are either shops doing any apoc stuff?

not officially, but both places have people that are more than willing to plan and play apocalypse games...
boldos is a little small to be taking up that much room from the store, but if you talk to boldo/sean/whoever before hand it shouldnt be too big a deal

If you stop in pretty much any Saturday there are usually a lot of people playing 40k. Occassionally some play fantasy (i.e. usually me and krusty). Apocalypse is growing in popularity, though few have the super heavies. Of course if you do stop in on a Saturday, just be careful of the little gits (the noise gets old fast).
