Hi , i was wondering whats the safest form of payment to accept? ( USA to Canada )

I have receieved american cheque before only to find out i cant cash it outside of USA -_-

I have also received paypal payment which later they report it was hacked ( took all the money back )

How to accept payments while protecting myself?

If I were getting paid from Canada?

Money Orders, only

Western Union would be the obvious answer.

Personal check? Nonsense.

PayPal? Haha, *hell* no, no way. It's the scammer's choice, *and* you end up eating exorbitant fees.

If they don't want to do money order, I don't do the deal.

Why do you spell check "cheque"? Is that the UK and Canadian spelling?

"I.. I know my time has come" Tethesis said with a gasp, a torrent of blood flowing from his lips.
"No! Hang on brother!!" Altharius could feel the warmth slip away from his dear sibling's hands

Tethesis's reached out his bloodied arm to Altharius's face.
"I..I have one final request"
Altharius leaned close to listen, tears welling in his once bright eyes.
"make sure th..they put my soulstone in a tank... it'll be... real fethin' cool"
"Yes, you're gonna be the most fethin' cool tank!!" burning hot tears streaked down Altharius's face, as he held his brother's soul in his grasp.

Because cheque is the spelling used by the rest of the world ( other then USA )

Same was as foot ball ( you guys call it soccer ) is used the rest of the world.
While american *foot ball , doesnt make much sense as you dont kick often anyways.

So i'll go with which ever makes more sense :"P ( sorry i know foot ball means alot to Americans )

Huh, I had absolutely no idea (about the spelling thing)

But football is okay to make fun of, because I don't really care much about it except the University of Georgia college football team.
Yeah, the USof A has different spellings than everybody else cause we feel like it.

(International) Money Order is good, because it is irrevocable.

Once it is sent, you can cash it right there, and you're done.

If it's a bad MO, then you know immediately, and things stop.

In the UK there is something called a postal order. You go to the post office, pay cash and get a certificate to the value of the cash and send it off. The recipient can take the certificate to a post office and be paid out in cash. There's no possibility of cancellation though I suppose there is a chance of forgery of the certificate, though this is true for anything including actual cash.

I suppose an international money order is the same thing.

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Regardless of the amount, if you give somebody one of those huge checks (like from Publisher's clearing house) they will accept it. Make sure to provide balloons and confetti as well.
