Ok, this is me nit picking here but it has annoyed me.
In the 'descriptive' part of the Codex it describes the Deathstrike Missile Launcher as having a range of 12" to 960".
In the datasheet at the back it says Deathstrike Missile Launcher 12" - unlimited.
So can it shoot a mere 80 feet or can it be fired for mile (literally)?

Sorry for the nit picking but i would like to know your thoughts...

Generally the summary at the back is prone to typos. Consider the range given at the proper unit entry to be the correct. And please post a pic of the battle if you are ever forced to measure the range :-)

When i see my friends arrive at the end of the road to come for a game, i will inform them when they arrive that they have already lost due to the range of my deathstrike battery (i don't actually have any deathstrikes but at least on of my friends is gullible!!!)

4+ for it if it ever comes up in a game

If it came up in a game, I'd let you have it.

Just because anyone agrees with anyone, doesn't mean they are correct. Beware the thin line between what is "Correct" and what is "Popular."

No, I'm sorry but if I am 960 and 1/8th inches away then I will not allow you to fire your deathstrike missle at my unit.

/sarcasm

In reality though....its probably not going to really come up. I would just say it is unlimited range.

Honestly, it should have been an Apoc Datasheet, not a Codex unit. It's almost as if it was like "ok lads, we dont have enough material to put out another rip off Apoc book, start putting it into codex's!"

I don't use them in most games. They're reserved for special missions as something you have to destroy or defend before/until it launches.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Its 12-960" on both parts, weapon description and summary.

Seems to be the same problem as the SM codex had (vindicator/barrage).
Trust page 55 theres the correct statline.
