Where people Live Free, or Die

Well, anything Str 8 - Str 10 will ruin many a Necron's day, as those weapons negate WBB for most Necrons (Except Lords or other particularly tough units). CC is generally a sore spot for Necrons (But unfortunately also for Tau). I know that whenever I play my buddy's Tau with my Necrons, I'm always frustrated by his high-power weapons and his Crisis Suits (Quick, Hit-and-Run, and usually packing some decent guns).

Menaphite Dynasty Necrons - 6000
Karak Hirn Dwarfs - 2500

How many lawyers does it take to change a light bulb?
-- Fifty-Four -- Eight to argue, one to get a continuance, one to object, one to demur, two to research precedents, one to dictate a letter, one to stipulate, five to turn in their time cards, one to depose, one to write interrogatories, two to settle, one to order a secretary to change the bulb, and twenty eight to bill for professional services.

Stay well away from the Necrons, their maximum range is 36". Crap. Watch out for their deep strike though. The space marines are harder. take out any long ranged weapons and powerful weapons first, then let them fight the necrons, I'll be surprised if the Necrons win because Necrons are useless against space marines.

Drop the shapers. Add in 5 hounds. If they get shot at, the extra bodies will help more with the morale checks than the 6+ armor saves.

Otherwise.. 56 30" str 5 bs3/4 shots per turn. Over 100 @ 12".

Remove things like whirlwinds & destroyers before heavy vehicles.

Watch out the the monolith.. Im not sure what you can do against two of these.
