I was just making random army lists and was wondering what you guys think of these two. 1000 point the start while in end can easily grow into the 1500 point army. Hope I did good if not I kinda expected it being new :/
~1000 point~
~HQ~
Warboss - 60 pts
Mega Armour 40 pts
Attack Squig 15 pts
Cybork Body 10 pts
Bosspole 5 pts
Total - 130 pts
Weirdboy - 55 pts
Warphead 30 pts
Total - 85 pts
~EL~
10 Lootas - 150 pts
Total- 150 pts
~DT~
Trukk - 35 pts
~TP~
5 MegaNobz - 200 pts (Taken as Troop)
20 Gretchin - 60 pts
2 Runtherd 20 pts
Total - 80 pts
20 Slugga Boyz - 120 pts
Nob 10 pts
Bosspole 5 pts
Power klaw 25 pts
Total - 160 pts
20 Slugga Boyz - 120 pts
Nob 10 pts
Bosspole 5 pts
Power klaw 25 pts
Total - 160 pts
Total - 1000 pts
Warboss and the MegaNobz be riding in the truck and heading straight for the enemy quickly to be a early nuisance and to remove focus off my Slugga Boyz.
Gretchin be used for cheap objective holders and to give 4+ cover save for my Slugga Boyz mob.
Lootas will be used to take out light armored vehicles and to just fire down on infantry.
Most you say probably think that bad have second HQ choice for 1000 point but I can't help but enjoy the chances for Zap S10 AP2 spell on Vehicles and armored infantry, or Frazzle a blast spell with ap3(yummy) and last but not least chance to Deepstrike close to enemy lines with one the Slugga Boy Squads. Oh also 3 in 6 chance for extra power weapon in melee.
~1500 point ~

Strategy and technique is pretty much the same except with the addition of 20 boy Shoota squad for range fire. Deffkoptas to help Warboss be a early nuisance on the enemy. Of course increased numbers on most of the units.

Also just as early thank you for taking the time to read these lists and understand my thinking if you did. I hope you can tell me I did good for once
Thanks again look forward to comments.
P.S: Deffkoptas not so sure about so most likely be replaced and ideas for replacements are welcome.

personaly I think ghazghkull thraka is alot of points in a 1500pt game his waaagh charge is useful but the warphead kinda does that already.I'd stick with the mega armoured warboss.
those 95pts can be spent to give big shootas/rokkits to the squads, give rokkits for the deff koptas, bulk up your lootas, give a PK to your shootas,Some more grots or you could buy more boys
P.S. I think your shoota squad is 65pts over priced

Yeah noticed that alittle while back on Shoota Boyz but still forgot to fix it xD Got multiple army lists on my comp and get em mixed up lol
But yes I agree with you on Ghazghkull for was thinking about today and only real difference is wound and the better Waagh.
EDIT: Fixed the mistakes on Shoota points, replace Ghaz with my sexy warboss back xD Still need name for him.....
I decided with points to add another Deffkopta and equip them with twin-linked rokkit-lauchas to take out troops like space marines more then vehicles. Since really hate 3+ armor save >.>
Plus with scout they can really become a nuisance for enemy with my warboss and his gang of Nobz which is exactly what im going for.

Can't you save quite a bit of points by taking 19 or 29 grots instead of 20 or 30? Since you only need 1 runtherd for every full 10 grots..

Could save less then 20 points but rather have 30 grots and 3 Runtherds to hold say a objective and make it hard at same time for enemy kill em. For killing that large number of cheap ass units while their to ground is annoying.

You've got a lot going for you in the list but, based on dice rolls (perhaps this is just the case with Orks moreso than any other army), you can get screwed or, in the case of the Warphead, blow yourself up. Strapping the MegaNobz in a Trukk in a 1500 pt game (the only piece of armor in both lists, as well) may end up shortening their lifespan quite a bit. Slow & Purposeful will hurt you especially in a 6-strong unit (including the Boss) that has to trudge across the board if you fail to get the first turn. The Warphead is one of those guys that can make or break a turn, just as well as rolling for the number of shots the Lootas will get. You know the saying: "I make my own luck," that can be hard to do in this list, it's very dependent on solitary dice rolls.
That isn't a criticism of your list so much as it is an overall approach to strategy with Orks. Turn-by-turn strategy can be as much fun as overall battle planning. The more zany, random units you have in an Ork army, the more fun they can be!
I do like the list, virtually every unit is a threat to your enemy and you should easily be able to capitalize on his mistakes if he should spread his fire out rather than focus on prioritized targets. Unfortunately, there are a few holes (the lone Trukk chief among them) that can damper your battle plan from the first turn. In the 1000 point list, I recommend replacing the Warphead with a Big Mek w/ KFF. Inserting him into the list can really protect your boyz as well as your Trukk, though judging from your lists, it seems you prefer the Grot screen as protection.
Complementing the Lootas with Koptas is a nice touch in the 1500 point list.
Overall, I like the lists and the strategy, lots of big threats and the Warphead/Nobz will most definitely give your enemies the shakes if they do what you need them to do!

Only two armies for me:
- Bad Moonz - 2500 Points
- 1000 Points |

I mainly use warphead to avoid Eadbanger more then try my luck on getting the spell I want. So I try hard to avoid him blowing him up xD
As for trukk half the time make it sneak up behind stuff and keep it out of sight first turn just incase lose the roll and say a lascannon just owns it . For have lost it once at the start and wasn't a good run for them... but won game in end luckily xD
Though once ramshackled to a enemy thanks to lascannon shot which worked out well for me in the end.
But yeah the rolls could easily break me, I have seen my Lootas fail me alot. I had massive case of bad rolls on my Warboss and Nobz in melee where only killed one guy a turn in a assault :( Then top it off the Nobz failed their saves and died on me. Luckily the Weirdboy and Sluggas came and saved his ass.
Glad you like the list

Take out the Cybork body on the Warboss and the Grotprods, they aren't really worth it. Instead, use those pts to give your Shoota Boyz Mobz the max amount of Big Shootas (they are worth it).
Also, I've said this in another thread re: DeffKoptas, so:
Don't ever put Deff Koptas in squads larger than 1. They are too vulnerable to sustained fire and/or CC. Trust me, I built 4 hoping to use them all in 2 squads of 2 and they were never effective.
It wasn't until I ran them in either dedicated AT or Anti-Infantry setups using Outflanking that they have proved effective (so much so, that they have been decisive in winning several games since the switch).
Against opponents using Armour, take 2 Deff Koptas armed with Rokkit and Buzzsaws, run them individually and use the Outflank rule to you advantage. These are particularly effective against LR fire support vehicles like Basilisks, Hammerheads, & Fire Prisms. I've had games where a single DK was able to disable Land Raiders with Rokkit fire and then blow them up in CC using the Buzzsaw. That's a single 70pt model taking out a 200+pt in one turn.
Various Infantry heavy armies, take 2 DKs armed with TL Big Shootas and Bommz, run them individually, use Outflank, turboboost over the horde and drop the Bomm, then every turn keep the DK far away as possible and open up w/ TL Big Shootas to thin it out! That's 1 50pt model taking out or bogging down one large infantry horde.

Cybork body and grot prods were to fill up points, removing them does not give me 10 more shoota boyz to get another big shoota. So that a no no.
Putting Deffkoptas in single squads is horrible in annihilation kill points, be worth a kill point each so just give your enemy a easy lead if they just shoot them up first turn.
So sadly I decline your advice :/

Which is why I said use Outflank, then they aren't available to be shot at 1st turn

I was thinking the other day if should replace the 20 shoota boy squad, and the 4 deftkopta unit for a 12 man biker squad with nob with powerklaw and bosspole.
What do you guys think? for looking to see if this be better strategy or should just forget about it?
