Subject: Creed and Rough Riders...

Hiding in a dark alley with a sharp knife!

A quick question:
Can creed's special rule be used to allow rough riders to flank? If so, this seems like a good way around the special character's cripling "rage" rule.

No, Creed's special rule specifies only "infantry or vehicle unit".
So Rough Riders are the only thing in the codex that can't be used, IIRC.

So Rough Riders are the only thing in the codex that can't be used, IIRC.
Yakface has it right. Rough Riders are Cavalry, so cannot benefit from Creeds ability. GW are sneaky Like that.

That's what I thought. I just didn't have my codex handy.
Of course that make no sense at all. If anything RRs should have the "scout" ability on their own given the common role of light cavalry historically.
But this is GW we are talking about here....

True, true. Even the greatest military genius in the Guard's history can't figure out how to make his Scouts actually Scout.
Platoon of guys or Squadron of Battle Tanks? No prob. My scout horsemen? Nope.
