As a SM player. How do you break that chaos lash list. I play sali's and I have a diverse list.

A hood + mechanized = no fear of lash

If you have the points for it, you can take a Daemonhunter Inquisitor lord as your second HQ and give him a psychic hood (and he's required to have 3 followers, so go for 2 mystics and a familiar). Put him out of the way somewhere or in a transport.

Statistically, a psychic hood will shut down lash less than half of the time. Both the Inquisitor and the Chaos HQ will have LD 10. The player with the hood has to beat the Chaos player's roll.

Play more mechanized? As a Lash user, I can say that my Lash units get killed every game. Sorcs can be insta-killed, Daemon princes are only T5 and are huge targets. Just focus on them. Target denial is always an option too. Remember it's only a 24" range.
