As the topic states, Google Chrome cuts off part of my sig.

My sig in IE:

in Chrome:

As you can see, Nofasse's quote is entirely gone except for the very top of the quotation box.

Is there any solution to this, or is Chrome just too new a browser?

It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

I can say it's the same way for me on firefox.

But to be honest you have a lot there.

I do, but the really wierd part is that I see just as much room'reserved' for YOUR sig as for mine. The amount of text doesn't seem to affect the size of the sig 'space'.

Hmmm that is odd..

I'm slightly stumped now. I see my sig, maybe it's somewhere in the settings of our browsers, but I don't think that's it.

And now, if your sig is the last post, it's fine, but all your previous posts have the overly large space, and mine are still cut off.

EDIT:And now, your last post, it's fine, but all your previous posts have the overly large space, and mine are still cut off. (After posting, nothing changed so my sentence above is incorrect.) I wonder if it's something to do with cookies....

Do you have your cookies disabled?

Mine are enabled, but I'm still getting the cut off on your but not mine. And even though your the last post, it's still cut off on mine.

Forever alone

I have the same problem with Firefox. The bottom few lines get chopped off.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Firefox and chrome will crop anything over the dakka sig limit of 150 pixels. IE does not support this code which is why it is inconsistent, and why a fix is pending as mentioned in dakka discussions. If your sig gets cut then it is too big. If you have a text sig then experiment with reducing multiple lines into one to fit it all in.

I'll just leave it as it is. I'm of the camp that signatures don't interfere with browsing a thread, regardless of how big they are.

That sounds more like a problem with your computer or connection than anything we can help with. Try reinstalling chrome perhaps?

To be honest no one is going to read your signature if it is that long.

You could follow the rules and reduce your signature....
