So furious charge adds +1 to strength and a power klaw doubles strength, well where do you add the +1 on the charge?
To the base value making it 5 and doubling it to 10
or after it doubles only making it 9?
Any help is appreciated, Thank you.

Double bonus applies to base, after that you pile on additional boosts, so yeah S9 is correct.

You apply the +1 after doubling.
This is how the BASIC rules for arithmetic work, btw.
Multiplication/division operations before addition/subtraction.

I'd think this is more a rules thing than an arithmetic thing. Makes more sense if you add the PK to the nob, doubling the stength for the game, and then when he charges, he gets an additional 1.
He wears the power klaw for the battle and then charges. He doesn't charge and whilst charging, put the power klaw on.

Wow, if only this were covered in the rulebook. Oh woe is me, GW being... oh wait.. IT IS! Page 7: MULTIPLE MODIFIERS If a model has a combination of rules or wargear that both add to and multiply one of its characteristics, first multiply the basic value and then add the extra points. For example, if a model with Strength 4 has both'+1 Strength' and 'double Strength', its final Strength will be 9 (4x2=8, 8+1=9).

It's called bedmas.
B-brackets
E-exponents
M+D- multiplication and division in the order in which they come
A+S- Adding and subtracting in the order in which they come.
It's grade 5 math =/
Edit- This is the order in which you do math.

Needless to say many posters on these boards and others had difficulty with the concept of BEDMAS back in 4th edition, so it needed to be spelled out in 5th edition. I expect that with the advent of 6th edition they'll start running remedial literacy classes at night in GW outlets.

Or, y'know, they could, like, pay attention in math class and, like, y'know, learn something.
FTR, this was 4th grade math when I was at school.
