I am new to lizardmen and I would like to know more combos for lizardmen

Here is one I find to be pretty strong (not tested yet)
Super Saurus
Saurus scar-veteran
Hide of the Cold Ones, with the Bear's Anger...... T7, 7 S7 and causes fear

relies on you getting BA off though, which needs a Slaan and a willing opponent who doesnt spot it coming!

He's also on foot so slooooow - oh, and stupid as well. normally at just the wrong moment!

Combos: currently banehead + slaan with lore of death: steal soul causing 2 wounds is nasty as anything

Bane head plus piranha blade is also nasty - 3 wounds on your nominated target, or banehead plus flaming sword = dead tombking from one unsaved wound

Toowoomba, Australia

I took this combo to a 1500 point tourney (so no lords) where I came 3rd.

I wanted to be able to pump out a horrendous number of attacks that would make a Khorne champ blush...

Saurus scar vet (general) Light armour, Sword battle (+1 attack), The maiming shield (+1 attack)
Ws 5, St5, T5, A 6, Sv 3+

Saurus scar vet (BSB), Light armour, shield, Scitimar of the sun resplendent (+2 attacks), cold one.
Has the stupidity test but failed one the whole tourney.
WS 5, S5, T5, A6 (+1 for cold one), Sv 1+ and +1 combat res because he was BSB, AND FEAR

The last character was a lev 2 priest with 2 dispel scrolls.

The general was buried in a saurus with HW and Shield unit and munched enemies when I got accross the table.

The BSB would hide in the 2nd unit of HW and shield saurus (I have none modeled with spears as yet) and launch out as a missile to break units by himself. Best cobat phase was a tie between killing a banshee and 3 wraiths in 1 turn of combat and beating 3 dragon ogres in combat, breaking them and then running them down.

I thought that piranha blade caused 2 wounds and the band head doubles and wounds that a chosen character receives. so wouldn't that make it 4 wounds??????

No, it doesn't

You double the 1 initial wound into 2 for P blade

You then double the initial wound into 2 for bane head, but you arent actually adding in the original wound again - so you simply get 1 extra wound, not 2.

You can also do it the other way round: double for banehead then add the piranha blade. Either way it makes 3. Never 4!

Cloak of feathers and Staff of the Lost Sun seems pretty good. You can also give cloak of feathers to a skink shaman and use him to shoot magic missiles through with your Slann.

Give Blade of Realities to an Old Blood on a Carnasaur and you can eat just about anything.

I'd be interested to see what people like to take on their skink priests. Plaque of Tepok is pretty good. Diadem of Power is a given for a priest on an EotG. Besides that it just seems to me like the only really viable option for them is to make them a scroll caddy.

Your first skink priest should have Scroll and Diadem, especially if on EOTG to shut down magic phases.

Plaque can be useful, to be more likely to get a spell you want to use those 3PD on. If you run two like I do then the second one normally gets a scroll or otherwise gets cupped hands - this can be useful when you inevitably miscast, and means I'm more likely to throw 4 dice at a spell.

There arent many "must have" items for priests: if you're running a dual engine plus Slann list then the one shot Uranon can put the hurt on to knights just when you've pulled out all their scrolls - even with 2DD they have around 40% chance of failing.
