In the seraphim entry in the sisters Codex it says seraphim are armed with 2 pistols, do these count as 2 additional weapons in CC, or as just 1? The Codex seems to say that they only count as 1 cc weapon, but hand flamers counts as 2, so seraphim with hand flamers get 2 attacks, but sisters with pistols only get 1. That doesn't make much sense

It's an additional CC weapon so +1 attack to whatever they would normally get.

They have 2 Pistols, they have 2 Pistols (which each count as a CCW) so they get the +1 Attack. PS. GW may be forgiving in letting us quote rules for discussion, but they do not take too kindly to copyright infringement by posting up partial scans.

Meh, i doubt they have anybody browsing the internet, looking for small-time people scanning pieces of their rulebooks, they probably have bigger fish to fry, like the people that scan entire rulebooks.
Removed it just to be safe though.

"Counts as an additional CCW" might not be clear but the only way to interprete it is that Seraphim count as having an extra attack for an extra CCWs.
But the main rules would give you the extra attack anyway as a pistol is a normal CCW and Seraphim have two.

They normally do not include "bonus" attacks (2 CCW for example) in the unit entry, so you cant end up adding the bonus in twice.
Yes, 2 pistols are 2 CCW and therefore you get a bonus attack.

If they DO include it, they will clearly state that it is the case.
