I'm looking at what people here think is the stronger list, fluff is not a consideration and neither is sportsmanship.
Both lists have the same HQ and Elite and same Heavy
2 Lash demon princes with wings
2 x 5 chaos chosen 3 x melta, 2 x flamer w/ rhino w/ combi-plasma
2 x 3 Obliterators
The differences in the two lists are in the troops. One route is shooty and less choppy, the other is more choppy and less shooty.
List 1:
4 x 5 plaguemarines with 2 x plasma guns, w/ rhino w/ extra twin-linked combi-bolter
List 2:
1 x 7 Plaguemarines melta, flamer, champ with fist & combi-melta, rhino with extra twinlinked bolter
1 x 8 Khorne Beskerers - plasma pistol, champ with fist, rhino with extra twinlinked bolter
1 x 6 Noise Marines - blastmaster, rhino with havoc missle launcher
List 2 is more to avoid the "cheese" factor, I think that list 1 will help with objectives, but its weak on kill point missions.
thoughts?

I don't think you have to worry about the cheese factor if you're already running two lashes, which is plenty of dairy by itself.
I like the second list it gives you a little more versatility which you might need in a tournament environment.
...
Noticed your the SJ on your sig, where do you plan on playing? Could meet up for a game.

I like list 2 better also. Dump the Havoc missle launcher and extra bolters and get a doomsiren for the noise marines no cover, ap3 marine bbq is awesome.

List 2:
1 x 7 Plaguemarines melta, flamer, champ with fist & combi-melta, rhino with extra twinlinked bolter
1 x 8 Khorne Beskerers - plasma pistol, champ with fist, rhino with extra twinlinked bolter
1 x 6 Noise Marines - blastmaster, rhino with havoc missle launcher
I actually like the Havoc launcher just because it is two more templates to go with two lashes. I would ditch the blastmaster if you plan on making the Noise Marines mobile. Upgrade them to Sonic Blasters and find the points for a doomsiren. I would also consider altering your Plague Marine squad. I would advise upgrading that flamer to a melta and putting a combi-flamer on the rhino instead of combi-melta. I think it provides a more dangerous unit this way. Plus, you could burn a path to someone's tanks. Imagine burning a hole in a unit of IG screening a Russ. Remove the guardsmen and it's potential coversave and then blast it with your melta weapons. Or the Rhino flames one unit, while the Plague Marines jump out of a hatch on the opposite side and charge someone. That's why I think it is more dangerous than the other way. Just my 2 cents though.

Well, the NM squad should be led by an AC with doom siren, as its one of the best weapons in the game when combined with the lash.
I'd consider the first list.
