The first list ( 500 point Combat Patrol ) must be fully painted and based. The other two lists ( 750 and 1000 ) only need to be assembled. You should have two printed copies of each of your lists - one for your opponent and one for yourself. You must also bring with you the appropriate current Codex of your army and a copy of the Codex FAQ. In addition you are responsible for having the other necessary items needed to play: dice, templates, etc...

The following 40K armies are allowed for this event:

Black Templars
Blood Angels
Chaos Daemons
Chaos Space Marines
Daemonhunters
Dark Angels
Dark Eldar
Eldar
Imperial Guard
Necrons
Orks
Space Marines
Tau Empire
Tyranids
Witch Hunters

WYSIWYG: What You See Is What You Get:

As a general rule models should be properly assembled to represent weapons and wargear ( not grenades and the like ) the model is equipped with. If a model is carrying a Heavy Bolter, don't surprise your opponent and tell him the model is firing its Lascannon. This information will be included in your printed list but as a courtesy let your opponent know of any "odd" equipment - and keep things consistent where possible ( if the Heavy Bolter really is used to represent a Lascannon, then all Heavy Bolters should represent Lascannons - if there is a mix then use tokens or something ).

Combat Patrol Guidelines:

-- You must have a minimum of one Troop choice.
-- You are not required to take mandatory unit choices, but all other restrictions apply.
-- HQ choices will not be allowed, nor will Special Characters be permitted.
-- You may spend remaining points from anywhere in the Codex.
-- No model can have more than 2 Wounds, nor can any model can have a 2+ save.
-- Vehicles are allowed a maximum Armour value of 33 - adding FA + RA + SA ( only once ).
-- Ordnance weapons will not be permitted.

Escalation Format:

This tournament is the first in a series of five tournaments - each roughly one month apart from each other. The concept behind these events is for players to build and paint their armies over a reasonable period of time, while at the same time help develop their gaming skills. As these tournaments continue the point level for each will increase - in increments of 250 points ( planned dates below ).

Tour 02 ( 0750 - 1000 - 1250 ) ... June 20th
Tour 03 ( 1000 - 1250 - 1500 ) ... July 19th
Tour 04 ( 1250 - 1500 - 1750 ) ... August 16th
Tour 05 ( 1500 - 1750 - 2000 ) ... September 13th

Please note however that only the first list for each tournament must be fully painted and based.

Mission Objectives - Deployment - Special Conditions

This information will be available to players on the day of the event. As a quick overview though: All three deployment types will be used - one for each round of the tournament. In addition each round will feature a Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary mission objective.
