Is there a tutorial on how to do some good snow and ice work to a model? I want to do a valk on an ice world, so was planing on a snow base and trying to make it look like parts of the valk were starting to freeze over. I looked for a tutorial and could only find how to do snow basing. Any help would be appreciated.

I think it's interesting that the OP created two posts on the same day with the same question.

That explains it. Carry on, then!
There's a splattering (spattering?) technique involving a toothbrush that might get you something that looks like the valk flying through snowfall.

Hmmm...I've done a few snow/ ice themes before and i suppose . For ice I suggest useing a darker colour (depending on how deep the ice is) like a mix of regal blue and ice blue, the ice blue, then a mix of ice blue and skull white and then apint very fine lines as highlights on flatter surfaces and edges to show shininess then paint over with a gloss varnish for real shine. Will this work on your model? Hope it helps!
