i am desiging a chapter for the SM that i need to know where to post all my stuff, i am also on the heresy online website and am trying to get as much rectification as possible before i actually attempt writing the inevitable fandex that i am going to write up for this army...

to start with, i need to post some information about the chapter or you will have nothing to go on...

the dark founding chapters arent lost, they are inbetween chaos and the imperium (idea not actually proven, however, it would explain why chaos can use cypher although he comes to the aid of the dark angels so often) the chapters created during the dark founding are like mix ups of loads of primarchs gene seeds, like experements into what would happen if you cross breed chapters. My chapter is a mix of the crimson fists, the dark angels, the ultramarines, the death legion, the alpha legion and the black templars (although they were created after the second founding so... uhr)

They are from the forge world scalarius VIII, which is a pocket of space in the south west of the Uhulia Sector, the direct other side of the cadian gate to holy terra. the planet is largely volcanic, and as such, the tech adepts (or whatever they are called) had to make armour that was resistant to the extreme levels of heat, in battle, this give the infantry a 5+ covering save against all heat based weaponary (flamer, melta, i think plasma) and any melta weapons dont get their extra D6 on damaging the tank.

The chapter name is the Deathlords, they are named this after banishing the daemon prince that attacked them pertarabo (i hope thats spelt right) who was know as the death lord. The Legion has 7 Special characters, the main special character, (like marneus calgar speaking) is deathlord ultimo lance o donovan, magma walker high chaplain tiberius, Supreme commanders Syrus and Rius (my favourite creations) inquisitor lord haxos trimundus (a radical renegade inquisitor lord on the run) Necron hunter lord kelm harvant and the veteran champion nar`shaalm. there are still a few that i must finish they will be posted when i am done with them

The army makes use of elite units, these include the necron hunters, they can make use of the grey knights, due to the fact that they can use inquisitor lord dude, they can use fallen dark angels as allies, and as such, Cypher (mega wicked) and also the deathlord units, and the legion of the damned. the necron hunters are the deathlord equivelant to the Daemon or witch hunters, the weapons they carry use anti gauss technology, which means that any necrons that are killed by a gauss disruptor (the weapons name) cannot get stand up and cannot be revived by the necron lords resurrection orb, any necrons not killed by these weapons however are considered to have the gets hot special rules on their weapon, this functions exactly the same as a normal plasma weapon getting hot, except they dont employ plasma weaponary.

the fallen dark angels that can be allied to the deathlords are basically just dark angels and dark angels veterans, which are awesome so i thought why not, they function the same way that the dark angels do, so i may need to read the dark angels codex before actually finishing this work.

the term deathlord is actually a rank designation given to high ranking or particularly venerable sergeants and units, they have specialised ammunition, a bit like the sterngaurd, but the daemonhunters special ammo that the assassin employs, the three ammunitions are combined into one and fired as one weapon, as such, they roll 3D6 for armour pen, inflict two wounds if they hit, and only need a 2+ to hit. although to purchase these uber rounds for use costs a whopping +35pts

with all these upsides, i had to take away things that i sorely needed for this army, i cannot use terminators, and i cannot use bikes or land speeders, which limits my fast attack choices to assault marines and vangaurd veterans (the ones with jump packs)

if anyone would like to leave messages for this, hints and tips and the suchlike, feel free, because i really need some help with this.
