Well I don't like introducing myself but I'll give it a shot.

I live in the south of England which means I'm usually sheltering from rain and other British elements. I used to avidly play Warhammer 40k until about two years ago when we moved house and my entire Chaos Space Marine army 'got lost'. This caused me to phase the hobby out of my life and I took a good long break until about seven months ago when someone inspired me to actually take up Lord of the Rings. But recently I decided to dabble back into my original game and decided to create a Warhammer 40k army, along with aforementioned friend. Deciding to hop on the bandwagon with the new codex, and because I saw a Valkyrie that I just fell in love with, I have decided to collect Imperial Guard, as I'm a sucker for background and an army that is human, and while browsing the internet I came accross DakkaDakka, and decided to join up, if only to get rid of the adverts, but also as the resources and community attracted me.

Onto my armies, at the moment I have my Lord of the Rings armies compromising of:
Gondor - 1000 points, but with a good extra 500 in the process ( I like fully painted armies, but don't have too much time on my hands)
Isengard - 750 points, hoping to make that up to 1000 in the future.

So far, for Imperial Guard I have just got a few sample models of which I'm testing out different painting schemes until I settle on something I like.

Well if you read through all that, I congratulate you but would also like to know how you have that much spare time.
