Well, here is the 1st of 30. I'm working on a WIP photo set for the 2nd, currently, so if anyone is interested in the techniques used on this model many of them will be presented in the WIP thread I plan to post on Monday. Whuddya'll think?

Yeah, the torch isn't quite what I've envisioned yet. I picked up a few more blues to add to it and I still need to wash the handle as well. I'm kind of considering adding a few more colors to the flame... maybe greens? Not sure about that yet though as I'm pretty sure it would end up pulling eyes away from the red robe section of the model because as it is the red/blue balance out/ don't make you look at one or the other too greatly.

@Werdes: I'm using the model from the set that is holding up the proclamation board as my overseer.

I'm currently playing in a Calaxis sector fluff campaign on the chaos team. (Details and fluff at warsound.com) In the campaign I control Scintilla, the capitol world, and picked up the psykers from the slannesh cult that creates and harvests psykers there. The Proclamation will read, "Rejoice, for thou are true!" If anyone plays Dark heresy they will probably get the reference...

not a bad idea. I'll have to try that, or at least something similar, with my nxt box. Back to painting now bye!
