i bought assault on black reach marines and one landspeeder and i dont know what to buy and in which direction i should go

so my question is: What strategies are out there?

i read through my codex so many times, but i dont have an idea what to do

is 3 predators with h. bolter sponsons a good direction, so i have a lot and cheap armor?

or go heavy dreadnought way?

and there are lots of special characters who can modify my direction ( like sternguards scoring, everything is fleeting....)

can you write down what tactics do you use please?

thanx ( english is not my native language so my expression of my problem is lacking)

Well, you should first play smaller games at the 500 - 1000 pt level. Then move to larger games at the 1500 pt level.

For the latter level, you need 2x10 Tactical Marines with two special weapons each, and 10 Scouts with 5 sniper rifles, missile launcher. This gives you a decent core of 3-6 scoring units.

SM can be played footslogging or mechanized depending on your playing style.
A mech army should field Rhinos or Razorbacks, while a footslogging army needs some good shooty units.

I suggest looking for army lists at this forum and then coming back.
