so i just recently purchased a box of space marine tactical squad. I wanted to equip them with a heavy bolter and a lascannon, sadly it doens't include those weapons. I need some help creating a conversion for 2 marines, one with a heavy bolter and one with a lascannon from pieces available in the tactical squad sprue. help help help!

Actually you can just go to the warstore or Bitzbarn.com and bitz order the parts you need.

but that takes the fun out of converting =(

Wouldn't it just be easier to order a box of Devastators?

A tactical squad can't have 2 heavy weapons.
Those heavy weapons converted out of tactical squad bits will not turn out looking good.
Just bits order some, they aren't that expensive.

Phe buy a dev squad. youl get all the bits you need and 5 more marines.

I'm really miffed at GW for skimping on melta options in their boxes. The dev box only has one multi-melta, and the dreadnought doesn't even come with one (EVEN THOUGH IT'S THE STANDARD WEAPON ON THE DREAD!)

Lets give a unit a standard weapon.... but not include it in the mini lol

that's how gw works, oh you want a heavy flamer and a meltagun in your sisters of battle squad? Oh and a sister superior with just a bolter. Ok that sounds good. Here's a a squad with a regular flamer, and a stormbolter that you will never use. Oh and your sisters superior? Yeah here she is. with a chainsword and plasma pistol.. o.o

Well, when the Dreadnought kit came out, assault cannons were the default weapon for Dreadnoughts, and multi meltas were a 10 point upgrade. My how times have changed.
The single multi melta in the dev box kinda bites though.

Argh, the Sororitas metal figure packs have bugged me no end generally. I've started customising my own Sister Superiors out of Seraphim, normal sister legs, and Canoness arms, but it isn't cheap. :(
