VERY nice. Like the painting a lot and the posing is fantastic. I echo the sentiment about the Burst Cannon usage. Very slick.

Very simple actually.

White Undercoat
Fiery Orange
Slightly thinned Baal Red wash
Edged with about a 70/30 Bleached Bone/Fiery Orange mix

The orange base is very nice, but I think you should do more with it. Maybe one more stage of highlight, very sparing, on the hardest edges.

Maybe that's not necessary though... What I think would really make the models pop is if you did a little more with the black, grey, etc. For example, the circular pods on their packs, the vents on their packs, the pistons (Burst Cannon barrels), etc. If you added some black, metal, grey, in these areas, you'd showcase the orange better.

Very effective use of the washes, though. They produce a really nice result, especially when combined with a quick highlight.

Very nice! My scheme is blue with orange accents and I was thinking about making my Shas'el orange, but wasn't sure it would look good. Thanks for showing me it would!

Good advice, now that you mention it I definitely see some areas on the back pack that would probably look better in grey, such as the vents. I'd like to avoid using much i the way of metallics though. I agree an extra highlight would be good but I'm loathe to add more steps to the scheme so I can finish it in a timely manner. Its something I'll probably try on character models though and maybe come back to my suits at a later date. Thanks for the suggestions.

It's only really necessary on the suits, on the FWs they're small enough that it's not noticeable.

I'm not sure how fast you paint, but I think you could probably put another quick highlight on a suit in 5 minutes. I'm talking just the corners of the really sharp edges, like the tops of his thigh plates

I'd also think about breaking the guns up a bit. Maybe a bit of grey or orange. Orange muzzle brake might look nice.

I don't know what it is, but, there is definitely something appealing about orange and grey. I did this Warlock years and years ago and still love the colours even now.

Very nice conversion work and paint job. Do you have any pictures of the rest of your army?

I like the conversion work on the broadsides - railguns mounted on the arm just give them a more dynamic look. Also like the added touch of burst cannon on the side of the rail guns. Painting nice but just not a fan of the orange.
