Anyone know of quality places where there is either fantasy or 40k going on in the Chicagoland area? Need not be serious gamers, although that would be nice to meet some others.

I'm just moving back to Chicago, and there apparently a lot of places to play.

In the city itself is Black Sun Games, I stopped by there a few weeks ago and the guys were really nice, helpful, and getting set for a new campaign. The store itself, while smaller, is set up very well, is very clean, and is actually quite nice looking. Plus, they have forums going

Of course there are many GW stores where there are usually people playing, I've been going to the new Palatine store recently.

There is another place I stopped by called Games Plus in Mount Prospect, and it was really big and had a full dedicated game room. It caters to all sorts of games, not just GW stuff.

Those are some good suggestions. If you are able, I would also try to visit the Chicagoland Battle Bunker in Lombard, IL. It is a very big store with a full GW selection and lots of activity. Great place to meet people to paint and play with.

Far North, more specifically East Rogers Park. I'm basicly on the lake and right below evanston. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll be stopping there when I get a chance.

I will of course recommend Black Sun Games since its the shop I normally play out at (I'm the local Space Wolves player). Also we'll be starting a Tournament series in July which i'll post on the AWC & Black Sun forums about (possible here as well).
